Background:
Northeast Asia holds significant importance in influencing the world’s sustainable development due to its abundant natural resources, diverse environment, and substantial potential for economic development. The theme of this conference will revolve around ecological civilization and food security issues in Northeast Asia. It aims to address these challenges, propose adaptable measures, and foster cooperation, prosperity, and regional sustainable development in the area. Key topics and breakout sessions will be meticulously scheduled under this overarching theme. Moreover, the conference will feature organized field excursions, offering participants the opportunity to explore and appreciate some of the distinctive natural and cultural attributes of Northeast China. This comprehensive approach seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of the regions’ unique characteristics and foster collaborative efforts towards sustainable development.

The major topics of the conference include, but are not limited to:
►Black soil ecological function and resource value assessment
►Ecosystem conservation, restoration, and function enhancement
►Regional environmental issues and protection strategies
►Innovative methodologies and applications for natural resources monitoring
►Regional cooperation in Northeast Asia under the Belt and Road Initiative
►Big data and AI for regional sustainable development of the boundary regions

Registration:
Participants should log in the conference website to register (https://rersdna.casconf.cn/). Registration will open on 8 April 2024 and close on 20 May 2024. 
 
Registration Fee:
The fee of 100 dollars for participants in presence should be paid in cash at the registration. Registration fee includes conference participation, materials, and dining fee.
 
Call for Papers:
The Congress will include oral and poster sessions. You are invited to present your latest research results.
 
Requirements and Guidelines for Submission:
1. Register for the Conference
2. Select the category and specific session in which you wish to place your abstract, and submit it to the conference website in your registration interface.
3. Abstracts can be written in English or Chinese.
4. Each participant is allowed to submit one oral or poster in different sessions. 
5. An abstract is limited to 500 words.
6. All submissions will be reviewed and selected by the session organizers and/or commission chairs. The final submissions will be included in the congress program.

30 May 2024  Notification of the results of the submission review
