Bai Chunli, president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), meets with CEO of Holtzbrinck Publishing Group in Beijing

August 21st 2019, Prof. BAI Chunli, the president of ANSO and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), met with Stefan von Holtzbrinck in Beijing, the CEO of Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, one of the world's leading media companies.

Prof. BAI warmly welcomed Stefan and the delegation to visit the CAS again, and introduce the framework of the CAS, as well as the founding of ANSO and its process made by far. He pointed out that CAS and the Springer Nature Group, a subsidiary of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, have a long history of close cooperation and a great working relationship. CAS is always willing to deepen the collaboration with Holtzbrinck Publishing Group in science and publicity. Moreover, CAS welcomes its active participation in the construction and development of ANSO so that both sides could jointly strengthen international cooperation in STIC (Science, Technology, Innovation and Capacity building) to support sustainable development in economy and society.

The experts from both sides fully communicated on topics such as digital science and peer review during the meeting. Stefan indicated that their group has always regarded the CAS as one of their most important partners. He congratulated the establishment and progress of ANSO, and express their willing to give full support to CAS and ANSO.
