AI-Empowered Scientific Computing: Intelligent Methods for Forward and Inverse Problems of Differential Equations is the seventh lecture of ScienceOne.

Details of the Lecture
In this session, Prof. WANG Chuang will provide a brief review of neural network methods for solving partial differential equations. He will then introduce neural operator frameworks, which learn efficient solution mappings in latent spaces, and showcase their application to aerodynamic computations.
Speaker Profile
Dr. WANG Chuang is a Professor and PhD supervisor at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA), and serves as an Affiliate Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2015, followed by postdoctoral research at Harvard University (2015–2019).
His research interests include AI for Science, intelligent PDE solving, AI + physics, machine learning theory, and large model quantization. He also played a key role in the development of the ScienceOne Scientific Foundation Large Model. He has published over 30 papers in leading AI and physics conferences and journals, and his research outcomes have been successfully deployed by industry leaders.
