Introduction to CPU Design is the second session of CPU 101, produced by the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which helps students grasp the basic principles and design methods of processor chips, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth research.

The second lecture in this series, Engineer MIAO Yuyang will introduce Boolean algebra and logic gates, covering the basic elements of the CPU and explaining how logic gates process binary information. These concepts together establish the mathematical and physical foundation upon which modern computing systems are built.
