The ScienceOne session, produced by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is organized to promote the co-building of an open, shared, and platform-driven AI for Science ecosystem with global partners.

In this session, Prof. LI Kai will provide a systematic introduction to AI-driven scientific knowledge discovery. It will begin by focusing on knowledge discovery methods centered on equation discovery and demonstrating their typical applications across multidisciplinary fields. Building on this foundation, the lecture will further explore automated algorithm discovery and end-to-end automated research systems, offering a comprehensive overview of current developments and emerging trends in AI-empowered scientific research.
