CPU Model is the fifth session of CPU 101, produced by the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which helps students grasp the basic principles and design methods of processor chips, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth research.

In this lecture, engineer MIAO Yuyang will introduce the computer state machine models, the concept of instructions, and the CPU model structure. By linking instructions to hardware states, this lecture will explain the inner workings of how a CPU executes code step by step.
